This is a great historical movie and one of masterpiece of Tom cruise. The movie based on a true historical event which portrait the picture of the fight against Westernization and ancient Japanese culture. This movie is recommended to you all.

Summary-The center character of the movie is Nathan Algren. We find Simon Graham tell the story of the movie in the very beginning screen. Algren is a retired army officer of the USA army. He joined with Japanese businessman Omure to teach modern war rules and destroyed Samurai culture. Cornell Bayley came to Algren for the request, although Algren didn't like Bayley through he accept the proposal for the money. In Japan he meet with Simon Graham and Sergeant Zebulon Gant. A few days later Omura order Algren to sent his army for the fight against Samurai although Algren said this army is not prepared for any war. In war Samurai heavily defeated the Japanese army which was trained by Algren. Algren was taken prisoner with the Samurai. Day by day Algren like Samurai culture and soon he became friends with Katsumoto (leader of Samurais). In one night a group of Ninja attacked their village. Algren help Katsumoto to defeat the gang of Ninja by using Samurai techniques. Algren also saves the life of Katsumoto from the attack of Ninja. Few days later Algren was released from captive state. After coming back Algren discovered that the army was more modernized and Omura give him a proposal to fight against Samurai but he politely denied on this. Imperial army started crushing against rebellion Samurai. Algren decided to fight with Samurai against the Rebellion army. Both armies faced heavy destruction. Modernized weapons begin to take over the Samurai. This war scene definitely amazed you. Full of emotion, patriotic spirit made this unique and able to arise a pity scenes while we see the massacre. In this war most of the Samurai died. The scene when Samurai leader died is most heartbreaking. At least while all most every samurai died expect Algren the army stopped firing while they feeling pity for their deed. Algren only alive after the massacre as a Samurai that's the movie named Last Samurai. Algren gift Katsumoto sword to the King of Japan and tell how Samurai tried to save Japanese culture, tradition against ultra Modernization. Then the king realizes his mistake and decides to give the same priority on an old tradition.
Conclusion- Mind-blowing concept and hidden massage in it able to string our mind . This movie us on some important topic just like -
