Summary-This movie based on the true event of writers Salman's life. This movie tells us about the past time when people had made a slave by a higher class society in the then American society. This movie starts in 1841 where Solomon Northup lived in New York. Solomon Northup actually a free American who lived with his wife and two kids. He was a violin player as a profession and all people like him. One day he made with two white men name Brown and Hamilton and they offer him a job because of a good sum of money he accepts. After drinking some alcohol with the two white mans the next day he found himself in a jail. Some other black men also with him. although he tried to tell the guard that he is not a slave but no one tried to understand his word and for this he was beaten by the people. here Salaman got a new named as a 'Platt'. From here they are sent to a market then they are sold to a white man named William Ford. Although almost every white men are very cruel to their slaves his master was not like others. Soon Northup became a favorite to William Ford and he gifts him a violin. A white-skinned worker does"t like at all and trying best to harass him he hangs Salman and continues to beat with Tibeats in this time he struggled to get relief and cried badly while new owner came there he cut the rope as an alive. Next Northrup send to a new place as the owner(Edwin Epps) changed and he was very cruel to the servent. There was a female servant named Patsey who can pick over 500 pounds of cotton which is twice the usual quota. Edwin raped Patsey regularly. Here Salman meets with Armsby, a white man, some days after the request Armsby to mail a letter to his friend in New York but Armsby betrayed with him and tell all things to Edwin Epps and he became furious with him and tried to hurt Salman with a knife. But at least Salaman able to convinced his master. On the other hand Patsey gives a ring to Salman and ask him to kill just because she cannot bear torture and sexual assault anymore. Somedays after Salman meets with Samuel Bass who you also work with them a white man soft-hearted and he became friend with Salman. Salman tells about the full story of how he captured and how all things happened after listening full story he ready to write a letter to his family although he felt hesitation at first. One day while Salman(Platt) work there a policeman and other man came there and search for Northup. Mr. Parker also with him and he recognized Salman Northup. They take him back to home. Still Patsey and other salves are worked there. This movie end with his reunion with his family. His son and daughter are now grown up.
Conclusion: I request everyone to watch this movie at once in your life. This movie presents the most abhorrent history of world history. Premium quality of direction and acting is another reason for watching this movie.every can watch this movie although this movie got R rated for the violational scenes of in it. This movie puts humanity into an embarrassment which we must know. This movie portraits the dark history of the nineteenth century. This movie regards as one of the great movies of one of the century. This movie teaches us how to keep patients in the worst situation everything will be fine in one day.
